I hired Robert in 2025 for a major renovation of an older home, including a complete redesign of the main and second floors. The project involved a new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, walls, and extensive structural and finishing work. We had a very tight timeline and budget, and Robert did an outstanding job managing both.

From the beginning, he clearly defined the scope of work, communicated expectations, and kept the project well organized. He hired highly skilled subcontractors, coordinated their schedules efficiently, and frequently worked evenings and weekends to keep the project on track.

As with any older home, we encountered unexpected issues such as mold behind the ceiling and uneven structural surfaces. Robert approached every challenge professionally, explained the available options, and found practical, cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

The workmanship throughout the renovation was excellent, and Robert paid close attention to detail. He was honest, dependable, responsive, and committed to delivering a high-quality result. The project was completed on schedule, and the final outcome exceeded our expectations.

I highly recommend Robert to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and hardworking general contractor. I would not hesitate to work with him again on future projects.

I needed to lower, re-slab and finish my basement in my downtown Toronto home. Robert Malinowski was referred to me by a trusted colleague. Robert and his team came up with a well thought out and detailed quote. He kept us up to date with the progress and clearly communicated with us during the process. He was also able to work well with our designer and integrate her vision into the project plan. The end result was a great addition to our living space that looks great and is well constructed 'under the hood'.

I'd recommend Robert to anyone and we will continue to use him for our other projects.
